The Islamorada Fly Dolphin Tournament is a team event with up to 3 anglers allowed per boat. There are a limited number of entries allowed in the tournament. The event will kick off with a silent auction at the Islamorada Fishing Club on Monday. There are awards for largest fish, junior angler largest fish, combined wieight of 6 dolphin over the two days, and most team realeases. You can find more details on the tournament format below.

The Islamorada Fly Dolphin Tournament is a team event. Entry fee includes up to 3 anglers per boat. Scoring is based on releases and weight. Photos must be taken of each fish that is releases. Photos must be turned in each day. Each team is allowed to weigh 3 Dolphin per day and the combined weight of 6 fish over the two days will determine the winners.
Junior anglers will compete for the largest Dolphin caught by a junior angler.
Junior Angler Age Restrictions
A Junior angler must be age 12 or younger by the first day of fishing.
Boundaries and Times
Boats are allowed to depart between Mile Marker 106 (Garden Cove Marina) and the East end of the Seven Mile Bridge. Lines in begins at 8 am each day. There is no lines out time but you must be in line with your weight fish and photos for release points by 5:45 each day
Captain's Meeting and Kickoff
The kickoff meeting will be held at 5 pm on Monday the 10th in Islamorada at The Islamorada Fishing Club. One member from each team must attend the rules and kickoff meeting.

The Islamorada Summer Classic Fishing Tournament raises money to benefit: Coastal Conservastion Association, Good Health Clinic, Voices Guardian programs, and other youth and fishing programs in the Fabulous Florida Keys.
